DP starts day and night demonstration at High Court

 

The Democratic Party (DP) today Tuesday 14th August, 2012 started a peaceful day and night demonstration at the High Court;Kampala to fight for injustice, until the chief Justice, Benjamin Odoki disqualifies Justice Remmy Kasule and Stephen Kavuma from the panel hearing Vice President Edward Kiwanuka election cases.

The cases against Kiwanuka were lodged in the High Court by DP former parliamentary candidate in Bukoto Central, Jude Mbabali. Mbabali says that he is leading the demonstration that will run until the two justices get off the said panel.

Mbabali also today told a press conference at the DP offices inKampalathat Sekandi ‘stole his votes of Bukoto Central in 2011 parliamentary elections’ but the said justices seem to be protecting him.

Mbabali says that Sekandi is a brother in law to justice Kasule yet at the same time Justice Kavuma and Sekandi transact business together in a limited liability company based inKampala.
