The Ministry of Information and Communication Technology has developed a draft policy to guide the telecommunication sector in Uganda.
In statement issued by the Director for communication Engineer Godffrey Kibuka the policy will be tabled before other stakeholders for further scrutiny.
Engineer Kibuka added that the draft takes account of telecommunication policy of 1996. The draft policy of 2005 and the ministerial policy guide of 2006.
The stakeholder’s conference will take place on June 10th 2011 at Hotel African.
