Hundreds of Ugandans want the Sudan’s ambassador to Uganda, mr. Adil Hussein Sharfi to leave their country on allegations that he drives under the influence of alcohol.

Sections of Ugandans in Masindi last week beat the Sudan’s ambassador and robbed his property after his car was involved in an accident. The people allege that the ambassador’s car got accident beceause his driver was driving under the influence of alcohol.

Deputy Police spokesperson Patrick Onyango says that investigations are ongoing to recover the ambassador’s lost property and to validate allegation of driving under the influence of alcohol.
