Speaking at the opening of the 4th meeting of  directors of CID and registrars of motor vehicles in the region, Kiraso said that all what has been happening in Uganda has been affecting other member states which has posed great threat to the region’s security system.

She says while the issues of high commodity and fuel prices are common in many countries of the region, it is appropriate for the government to listen to those aggrieved and handle their grievances accordingly.

Kiraso also urges all member states to come up with uniform laws that will be used to administer justice to law offenders in the region even when they cross borders.

Meanwhile, Maj.Gen. Kare Kayihura is calling on all members states to acquire modern machines that would be used to check all goods crossing the borders as one of the ways in which security can be lifted in the region to combat, terrorism, human and drug trafficking among other vices.
