Ministry of health is advising all expectant mothers to always go for antenatal care if they are to reduce chances of their new bones catching disease.

According to the ministry’s head of communications, Dr. Paul Kagwa, many new born babies are produced with complications as a result of their mothers not going for antenatal care.

Kagwa mentions diseases like polio, HIV/AIDS, diabetes among others which are preventable from being transferred from the mother to the kid.

He also confirms that since the massive immunization campaign geared at kick out polio out of the country, the disease has tremendously scaled down.
