FDC drops MP Otto for challenging Muntu’s deals with Museveni

Due to his critic and challenging the president of Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) Gen. Mugisha Muntu over his weak leadership and failure to steer his political party ahead, Aruu County legislator, Odonga Otto has been dropped as chairman of government Assurances Committee. Otto was also reportedly dropped because he has been challenging the secret deals and calls FDC president Mugisha Muntu has been conducting with president Museveni and NRM.
Only Kasiano Wadri survived the ‘cull.’ MP Jack Sabiti and Amuriat Oboi got replaced too. The new Shadow committee in parliament has
FDC Secretary General, Alice Alaso and Paul Mwiru steering the influential Public Accounts Committee, while Wadri goes to Government Assurances.

Kyadondo East MP, Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda and Kasese woman MP Winnie Kiiza, have too been appointed to head accountability committees.

AswaCountyMP, Reagan Okumu, is the new Parliamentary Commissioner, replacing Elijah Okupa. The Parliamentary rules of procedure obligate the main opposition party to review its leadership of oversight committees every after two-and-a-half years.
