former FUFA executive wants current FUFA limited disbanded

The former executive of Federation of Uganda Football Association – FUFA has informed the parliamentary committee on education that the football association was registered as a private company in order to be able to own property.
Former FUFA president, John Baptist Ssemanoba told the committee that this was done after consultation with federation of international football association – FiFA.
The mps are questioning why a national football federation was registered as private company to manage the football game on behalf of the country.
The committee also heard that Fufa limited was disbanded by the minister of sports however after some time it was turned into a construction company which was later registered as FUFA limited which mps say that it was irregular. The committee continues with its investigations in the mismanagement of the national football federation.
