Fort Portal guard killed by Elephant

Police in fort portal Kabarole district are holding four men in connection with the death of Kasangaki Ochi a home guard whose body was discovered lying next to an AK47 rifle in Sebitole forest reserve.

Anonymous sources reveal that Kasangaki might have been killed by an Elephant which he tried to shoot in search for ivory.

The late Kasangaki is suspected to have been one of the crew members that have been hunting for ivory in the forest.

His body was picked by police and taken to Buhinga referral hospital for postmortem. Police has failed to release the details of the four suspects for not jeopardizing the investigations.
