Hippos regroup for residential training

The Uganda’s U17 side (the Hippos) will regroup ON Thursday for residential training at Nabinonya resort in Entebbe ahead of their return leg clash with Zambia in the African Youth championships.

The Hippos beat Zambia’s Junior Chipolopolo 2-0 in the first leg match at Nakivubo stadium with goals from Abubakar Gigi

The spokesperson of the Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA), Rogers Mulindwa says they will not leave any stone unturned and will also not waste any more time because anything could happen in Zambia.

He adds that Coach Richard Wasswa’s boys are in good shape and hopes that they will have a good show in Zambia in order to qualify for the next round of the tournament.
