Indians chased away from Kampala buildings

Tens of Indians under their umbrella company, the Shumuk Company properties Uganda limited have been chased away from Blacklines house in Kampala. Many of the Indians were seen today in sobs.

Blacklines building is owned by Kampala business mugul, Boney Katatumba. The development comes after last week court issued an eviction and attachment orders allowing Katatumba vacant possession of his properties Katatumna Suiites on Plot 2, Colville Street and Hotel Diplomat Plot 970&971 Muyenga Tank Hill that were fraudulently taken by Indians.

Katatumba’s businesses had been grabbed by his former business associate Mukesh Shukla aka Shumuk, an Indian.

The misunderstanding between Katatumba, who is also the Ambassador of Pakistan in Uganda and Shumuk, arose in 2009 when Katatumba trusted Mukesh Shukla in business dealings but later turned against him.
