Irish campaigns for HIV/AIDS free generation

 

The Uganda Youth forum conference opened on Tuesday in Kampala at UMA show ground in Lugogo. The conference was opened by the Irish ambassador to Uganda, His Excellency Donal Cronin.

The opening of the conference was under the theme: An HIV/AIDS free generation: my responsibility. The forum will be closed by President Yoweri Museveni and the first lady Janet Museveni.
Leonard Imanishimwa, the Uganda youth forum, executive director says this year’s conference is focusing on an HIV free generation, challenging young people, leaders, Government officials, cultural and religious leaders to take responsibility in ensuring the realization of an HIV free generation.

The facilitators in the conference are  Hon Mary Karoro Okurut, Pius Bigirimana, Prof Nantulya, the chairman of Uganda AIDS commission and Miriam Atengo.
