Kagame switches off analogue TVs in Kigali

 

Rwanda’s iron man, President Paul Kagame has directed the Rwanda Utilities Regulatory Authority (RURA) to switch off all analogue TVs in Rwanda. Kagame, an African silent dictator, who Rwanda’s opposition politicians accuse of killing his opponents, wants every homestead to acquire digital set top boxes.

The Rwanda Broadcasting Agency managing director (RBA) Arthur Asiimwe says RBA is the facilitator of the digital migration process in Kigali. He says the rest of the country of Rwanda will switch from analogue to digital broadcasting on July 31.

“We are going ahead with the analogue switch off for Rwanda as planned. The public is aware of the process,”
