The National Unity Platform (NUP) presidential flag bearer Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu started off his day with a briefing at his Magere-based home in Wakiso district.
This was after taking a day’s break of the trail to meet Electoral Commission officials over what he termed unfair treatment by security forces.
Along the way, Kyagulanyi, who was wearing a bulletproof attire and a red overall, kept waving to his supporters on the roadsides.
He was on his way to campaign in the Bukedi districts of Kibuku and Pallisa through Namutumba.
At around 12:40pm, Kyagulanyi started his first rally at Bumiza Primary School, which is 4km away from Kibuku town.
