The five East African community member states Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzani and Kenya will on Wednesday simultaneously read their 2011/2012 national budgets in their respective parliaments.

All the five EAC member states are expected to announce business incentives that promote regional integration and reflect the motives of the Customs Union that the five countries embarked on starting July 1st 2010.

Uganda’s 2011/2012 national budget will be read by newly appointed Minister of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, Maria Kiwanuka before Members of parliament, diplomats and the President at the International Conference Center.

The budget is expected to focus on improvement of infrastructure like the roads network, railways, energy provision, boosting the National Agriculture Advisory services, and employment creation among others.
