Makerere University will hold its Special Graduation Ceremony on Friday 22nd July 2011 in the Main Hall, Main Building. This is a fulfillment of the pledge made during the 61st Graduation Ceremony, held from 17th – 21st January 2011.The Chancellor, Professor George Mondo Kagonyera will confer degrees and award diplomas to 1,190 graduands, of whom 705 are male and 485 are female. Out of the total number of 1,190 graduands, eleven (11) will receive PhDs.
