Makerere University has allocated billion of shillings to be used for the supply and installation of universal water metering and sectional replacement of dilapidated pipe mains at Makerere University. The university management has now invited sealed bids from bidders.

According to the press statement issued today, interested bidders may obtain information from Makerere University Procurement and Disposal Unit. The bidding will be conducted in accordance with open domestic procedures.

The method of payment will be either a bank draft in the names of Makerere University council or cash payment at stanbic bank, Makerere University branch. The sources told us that there will also be a pre bid meeting on Friday next week.
