Riyad Mahrez struck early in the first half at Wembley to hand Pep Guardiola’s men a deserved win. Mahrez converted it home from Raheem Sterling’s sixth-minute cross that eventually became the winning goal.

The boss was very special to me. I spent four and a half years there and have many memories with him.
