Mbarara University of science and technology lecturers leaving for greener pastures

A short funding to Mbarara University of science and technology is biting hard as the university grabbles to maintain recruited staff.

According to the deputy vice chancellor Professor Pamela Mbabazi lack of funds has left the University incapacitated as most lecturers have to leave for greener pastures due inadequate pay, poor salary payments.

Professor Mbabazi says for the University to chime out for quality students, there is need for recruitment of experienced professors to do the lecturing.

She says the recruited professors must be well remunerated and facilitated to do good teaching and research.
