A cross section of Members of Parliamenr say that sharing of office space by three MPs will inconvenience their daily activities; as parliament continues to allocate office space to MPs for the 10th Parliament. MPs say this process should speed up so that MPs get enough space.

Buzaya county MP- Kamuli District Isaac Musumba says if this issue is not worked on faster MPs will be left with no option but to operate their parliamentary business in the cars or corridors of parliament. He however says there is hope that more space will be created as some MPs will be appointed as ministers.  Mityana South Member of parliament in Mubende District Simeo Nsubuga says MPs should be patient as there is a lot of money needed to purchase office space adding that  the important issue is to represent their people. He says that some can even work from a small office since him as a former security officer is used to such conditions where many police officers share one room and a police vehicle. Kibuku district Woman MP Jenifer Namuyangu says although there will be inconvenience there is hope that more office spaces will be created for MPs.

Parliament asked members to make a team of three through their party whips to share one office. The director communications and Public Affairs at parliament Chris Obore says that members of parliament should share offices  as the parliamentary commission tries to secure another building to house more members of parliament.
