Mo Ibrahim has delivered a fiery lecture to over 1000 university students at the University of Ghana, Legon.

The University’s Great Hall was packed to capacity as Dr Ibrahim called on Africa’s leaders to begin to take responsibility for their actions, and outlined some of the key issues which the African continent needs to tackle, including economic integration, agriculture and food security, and climate change.

The lecture ran under the theme ‘Taking responsibility: how can we mix the mess that the African continent is in?’

The format of the lecture was interactive with students clamouring to participate and address Dr Ibrahim.

Dr Ibrahim’s lecture was part of an extended trip through Africa, which included lectures in Maputo and Nairobi and a civil society gathering in Nairobi.

Audio clips from the lecture are exclusively available on http://www.moibrahimfoundation.org/en/projectsinitiative/working-with-civil-society/lecture-by-mo-ibrahim-in-accra.html
