MP Mohammad Nsereko requests Besigye to quit active politics

Kampala Central MP Mohammad Nsereko has requested Col. Kiiza Besigye of Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) not to contest for president in 2016 general elections.

We have been informed that Nsereko met his supporters in Kisenyi parish yesterday and told them that if Besigye does not realise that it’s high time to call off Ugandan politics, Ugandans will delay to be liberated from Museveni’s regime.

Besigye has been telling Ugandans all along that he’s fighting leaders who don’t want to leave power. The demands for Besigye to quit politics have come at a time when FDC is preparing to replace him as party president.

However Besigye still insists that he will contest for president in 2016 with or without FDC ticket. Besigye has been telling his supporters in secret meetings that he feels okay to contest for president on any of the political pressure groups in Uganda like A4C, Suubi and 4GC.

Nsereko asks for the difference if Besigye insists on contesting for president and Gen. Museveni dreams for the same. Besigye has unsuccessfully contested for president thrice.
