Micro Provident Uganda Limited (MP Uganda) was incorporated in 2005 and started trading as a subsidiary of Letshego holdings limited, a listed company on the Botswana stock Exchange with other subsidiaries in Botswana, Swaziland,Tanzania, Zambia,Namibia and Mozambique.
Pursuant to the shareholders vision of forming a pan African company, MP Uganda has undergone change of name to Letshego Uganda limited.
We are told that between 1st February and 15th March 2012, the letter head, branch and road signage will change to Letshego Uganda limited. However, we have been informed that all MP Uganda’s subsisting contracts, memoranda of understanding with different stakeholders, agreements, letters of undertaking, conveyance and conferment will remain unaffected.
The sources in MP Uganda tell us all company objects, services, processes and operations will also remain the same under the new identity.
