mps fight each other over foreign trips

Members of parliament sitting on the parliamentary presidential committee have accused their committee chairpersons of incompetence and making them redundant.
Mps while are reviewing their work plan in the committee chaired by the youth member of parliament for Eastern Uganda Patrick Ogwang said that their chairpersons have failed to call meetings for the committee proceedings.
Bitter mps who include Major General Julius Oketta, Florence Nebanda ,Jesicca Ababiku, Harriet Ntabazi , George Ekuma said that the committee performance has gone down and its invisible.
The woman member of parliament for Bundibugyo district Harriet Ntabazi said that the committee chair person of the committee I Col. Fred Mugyenyi s majorly blamed for letting down the committee performance saying the instead of calling the meetings, he is always in foreign trips .
She said that the Buyaga mp Barnabas Tinkasiimire was better than the current chairpersons although he was arrogant and she regretted to have joined the inactive.

The woman member of parliament for Butaleja Florence criticized the chairpersons of the committee for being selective for foreign trips meant for the committee members.

The vice chairperson of the committee Patrick Ogwang said that its not true that they have to do their work but some are absent whenever meetings are called but they want to claim allowances.
Ogwang showed to the media a list of mps of the committee indicating that nine mps have never attended the three meetings the chair persons managed to call.
Among the mps who have not attended the three meetings include Patrick Nsanja , Harriet Ntabazi,Agness Nabirya, Florence Nebanda, Jancito ogwal, odonga otto, Judith Amoit among others.
