Members of Parliament have been urged to regularly consult their electorates before any bill is passed into law. The President of Peoples Progressive Party, Mze Bidandi Sali says many times MPs support the bills in house in a bid to please President Museveni without making due consultations with their electorates.

Bidandi says in due course MPs pass acts that don’t respect human rights and principles of natural justice.

He says that before the MPs pass any bill they should make sure that people on the ground are happy about the new development. Bidandi says many MPs lose elections because when they reach parliament they forget to represent the views of their voters.
