Mulago hospital is to wave medical fees to assist one of the children who were struck by lightning in Kiryandongo district on Tuesday.

15 year old Fred Baguma lies in the hospital unconscious and is feared to have suffered brain damage.

The nursing team in charge of three (3) B emergency surgical wards Margret Tagina Lwao says Fred Baguma is likely to undergo a city scan to examine the extent of the damage caused by the lighting.

Nurse Tagina adds that the hospital director found it necessary to help the victim who is needy.

A team of 15 doctors and 25 nurses have been set to monitor the one Fred Baguma and the other lighting victims.
