President Yoweri Museveni has confirmed that he will be in Nebbi today (Friday, November 13, 2020), but warned the general public to avoid situations that may expose them to COVID-19.

Museveni will be in Nebbi, to campaign to be re-elected for the sixth time, as the President of Uganda. He is one of the 11 other candidates who are traversing different parts of the country, scouting for votes.
He tweeted, “Today, I will meet with @NRMOnline leaders of Greater Nebbi and thereafter conduct a radio/TV address translated in Alur. I continue to urge our supporters and the general public to avoid situations that could expose you to Covid-19.”
Museveni will be returning to a district that gave him 65.86% (72,505) of its votes; in the 2016 Presidential elections.
Nebbi is located in the West Nile sub-region and is approximately 77 kilometres by road, south-east of Arua which is the largest town in the sub-region.
