The national chairman of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) Organisation, Yoweri Museveni and the NRM caucus meeting has recommended that the Prime Minister of Uganda, Amama Mbabazi be suspended over indiscipline.

The NRM caucus has recommended Richard Todwong to be acting as the NRM Secretary General for the time being in place of Mbabazi.

Mr. Richard Todwong accepted to be acting as the NRM Secretary General. “I have accepted to coordinate the assignments of NRM as Secretary General until the next general elections,” he conforms.

Todwong is a state Minister without Portfolio in Charge of Special mobilisation in Museveni’s government.
