Museveni to wage war against corruption

President Yoweri Museveni has promised to deal with the corrupt officials in his new term of government; he gave the warning as he delivered his state of nation address to parliament as he opened the second sitting 10th parliament. He told parliament that his government is going to handle the corrupt officials like the national resistance movement brought discipline in the army.

He described the corrupt people as rats and endangered species that need to be exterminated. He blasted ministers for getting favor from foreigners to complete their hotels and paying fees which is disappointing. The president urged people to struggle to live according to their means, rather than indulging in corruption because it’s disgusting and promised to stamp it out.

In his address he said corruption must be expunged from among the political leaders and civil savants, hand added  it was sad to find the educated people being corrupt.
