As the polling day draws near, different political camps and aspirants continue to engage in bitter exchange of words to win support from the electorate. Mukono South member of parliament Rev. Peter Bakaluba Mukasa who is now Independent candidate  and Johnson Muyanja Ssenyonga (NRM) cannot see face to face due to political rivalry which has put tension among the voters of the two camps.

Bakaluba Mukasa distanced himself saying that his camp was not involved in the alleged accident where Muyanja  Senyonga (NRM) is said to have been involved over the weekend. Bakaluba said Muyanja has failed to look for votes and is trying to frame up issues by stage-managing incidents to gain sympathy which he condemned saying its aimed at dividing the electorates. He called the development happening in Mukono South as katemba (drama) and asked Police to investigate the matter so that the culprits are apprehended accordingly.
