NextGen Scholarships for International High School Students in USA.

 

The NextGen Scholarship Fund was created for international students and non-citizens who come to the United States with the hopes of obtaining higher education to create a better life for themselves and their families.

It is a local (Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia) scholarship program that provides one annual award to a qualified and outstanding high school senior or a current college student at a two-year or four-year college.

To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be an international student or non-citizen enrolled in a US school.

To apply for this scholarship, applicants must fill out the application completely. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Applications are judged on merit and financial need.

One scholarship in the amount of $1,000 will be awarded each Fall.

How to Apply for Scholarships 

Beginning March the online application will be available for the next academic year.

It is advised that applicants gather all necessary information prior to starting, because the application must be completed in one sitting.

Applicants will not be able to save the application to complete at a later date.

Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Applications are open in March.

All applications must be received by May 2.

Final decisions will be made by July 30.
