Opposition regrets suspension of MPs

 

 The Acting Leader of Opposition, Kasiano Wadri (Terego County) has regretted the suspension of five MPs on Wednesday.

Kasiano says the events that led to the suspension of MPs: Odonga Otto (Aruu county),   Beatrice Atim Anywar (Woman MP Kitgum), Christine Abia (Woman MP Arua district), Geoffrey Ekanya (Tororo Municipality) and Michael Ocula Nyeko (Kilak county) were not premeditated by the opposition. 

The Acting Leader of Opposition has also has appealed to the Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Rebecca Kadaga to rescind her decision to suspend the MPs. Kadaga suspended the MPs due to what she called ‘gloss misconduct’ of the MPs in question.
