Professional players join the under 23 Uganda football team ahead of African qualifiers

Three professional players have joined the Under 23 National football team currently in residential training at Kavumba recreation grounds in Wakiso district in the preparation for all African qualifiers return league match against Kenya on 26th of June 2011 in Nairobi.

They are all Vietnam based players, Sadum Juma, Moses Olaya and Geoffrey Kizito bringing the number of players in camp to 27.

Speaking to the press during the training, the assistance coach John Besiti Nsimbi says they expect to announce the squad on Friday that will travel for the game.

Nsimbi says they are happy with turn-up because all players are in good condition and optimistic of the victory.

He called on all Ugandans to support them because it encourages them knowing the public is behind them for success.

The team is expected to leave on the 25th of June 2011 led by FUFA vice president Patrick Ogweru a board Kenya airways.
