The Prime Minister Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda has been put to task by Buweheju MP Francis Mwejukye to explain the group of armed personalities which has been beating people along the streets of Kampala. Mwejukye also asked Rugunda to bring to parliament a full detailed report indicating what the intentions of this group are. He made the remarks during prime ministers question time where he is expected to answer issues related to government programs on the floor of the house.

His remarks follow an incedent wher a group of men dressed in police uniforms were caning people along Kalerwe and Gayaza road while escorting the former FDC presidential candidate to his Kasangati home yesterday.

In his response on the matter Rugunda told the house that the investigation into the matter will be conducted and at an appropriate time a report be submitted to parliament.
