The Lugazi based sugar corporation of Uganda limited (SCOUL) in Mukono district has like many other organizations responded to the Uganda Red Cross’ call by extending help to the people of Bududa that were affected by landslide about a month ago.
The Sugar factory donated 100 bags of Sugar to the victims which were delivered to the camp by the company’s marketing manager Sudeep Muhanty and other staff.
The SCOUL team together with Red Cross officials distributed the sugar to the victims to ensure that at least each of them gets a share.
The beneficiaries hailed the management of SCOUL and other organizations for keeping around them during the trying time.
