Sebaggala demands 2 billion shillings from MTN

 

The former opposition ace and former president of the Liberal Democratic Party, Al-Hajji Nasser Ntege Sebaggala is demanding 2 billion shillings from MTN for having used his statements in broken English as ringtones.

Hajji Sebagala, also former member of DP Uganda and former Mayor of Kampala (DP) 2006 – 2011 sued MTN Mobile Phone Company yesterday.

The MTN, Uganda’s major funding Company was sued by Sebaggala for selling his recorded voice as a ringtone to their customers without his consent.

The ringtone is very popular in Uganda when Hajji Sebaggala is addressing a press conference in Kampala in broken English.
