Symptoms of lupus, lupus is a disease that affects women

Lupus is an autoimmune disorder, in which antibodies mistakenly identify the body’s tissue as foreign substances and attack them, causing inflammation and pain.

The disease most often strikes women in their childbearing years. The causes of lupus are an allergic reaction to medication or vaccines, viruses, bacteria, especially streptococcus, extreme and prolonged emotional or physical stress, estrogen disruption related to pregnancy or birth control pills.

Use of synthetic hormones, deficiency of certain hormone for example DHEA, progesterone, testosterone and growth hormone, food allergies, poor digestion and detoxification, heavy metal toxicity. The symptoms of lupus are facial rash, fever, fatigue and malaise. Other symptoms are joint and muscle pain, weight loss, hair loss, sensitivity to the sun, vulnerability to the illness, enlarged lymph nodes, nausea, constipation or diarrhea, recurring bladder infections and presence of lupus antibodies in the blood.
