Kiwanuka was today appearing before the Finance Committee of Parliament to explain the ministry’s role and action taken to ensure accountability.

She says that this challenge is not unique to Uganda and the government can draw lessons from other countries on how to address this mess.

Sources from the president‘s office tell us that the president is likely to delay the appointment so Wabwire is likely to enjoy the post for some time.
