However we have learnt that Haruna Mubiru has formed his own band dubbed Kream production band.

The Kream Production band headed by Haruna Mubiru has already recruited many popular musicians in town.

They include Aziz Azion, Samalie Matovu, Chris Wajjadi, Chris Evans, Dr Propa and Charles Ssekyewa among others.

 Many members ofLeoneIslandhave reportedly joined firebase crew of Bobi Wine, Gagamel Crew Bebe Cool, Chilli galz and Jackaki band among other groups. In fact snoops report that the number of dancers inLeoneIslandhas reduced to an extend that when Chameleon is invited to perform, he hires dancers from other groups.

 Some members of theLeoneIslandwho left Chameleone and joined other groups include Master Parrot, Cox, Lizard, Junior Pliers, Chaga, Red Banton and Mr. X among others.

Chameleon is restructuring his crew after he has got new lucrative deals inEurope. We have learnt that Chameleon has asked even those former members of his crew who wish to return.

Zawedde’s band was recently evicted fromKampalaentertainment centre. Since that time Zawedde band has been moving from bar to bar and from corner to corner looking for accommodation.

To be exact Zawedde got the new home with the help of the management of ‘the Heights bar and restaurant’ at Centenary pub.

Zawedde, according to sources, will officially open her new home on Wednesday next week. From that day, Zawedde will be performing at ‘the Heights bar and Restaurant’ every Wednesday.

We have been told that Zawedde’s shows will be free of charge for all her fans who can buy a bottle of beer whenever they enter the bar to watch her performances.

Iryn Namubiru PAM awards artists of the year 2011

Iryn Namubiru was the biggest winner of the night on Saturday being crowned PAM 2011 artists of the year. She is the second female to win the award, after Juliana Kanyomozi in 2008. Irene also took home the award for Album of the year for her Birowozo and she couldn’t have asked for more in a year she described as year for females.  She also took the best female artist of the year accolade.

Another female crooner, Angella Kalule was a big winner, taking home best song of the year and best live band single for her Katikitiki which was enough consolation after losing artists of the year and female artist of the year competition to Iryn Namubiru.

Bebe Cool, the immediate PAM artists of the year winner was voted male artists of the year and he took the accolade for best Ragae artists group award as well.
