The Inspector General of Police, Lt. Col. Kayihura has instructed all Officers in charge of police stations inKampala and across the country to beef us security at all leisure centres, bars and night clubs.

 Kayihura in the radio call message has told the police OC’s that the police don’t want to see a repeat of July 11^th 2010 twin bomb attack onUganda in which over 76 people died and scores survived the attack with fatal injuries.

According to sources withinUgandapolice, Kayihura has deployed plain clothed cops at all the main clubs inKampalaand major towns inUgandato ensure that the life and property of Ugandans are protected. The Al Shabaab Islamist militants have already warned to re-attackUgandaover UPDF’s continued stay inSomalia. UPDF went toSomaliaon a peacekeeping mission.
