Addressing journalists at Parliament Mutonyi said that youths don’t want to participate in wealth creation because they think it’s for the elderly people.

She noted that many of the youth don’t want to embrace agriculture and keeping animals because they want quick money.

She cited an example in her district where she bought pigs for a group of youth to rear in order to multiply to help them get income, but they decided to sell them off just because they wanted quick money questioning how they will get income to fight poverty.
