Here is the list of MPs who have signed on documents to censureUgandaministers: Dr. Khiddu Makubuya (General duties) and Syda Bbumba who is the minister of Gender, Labour and Social Affairs. The ministers are being accused for their role in the controversial compensation of businessman Hassan Basajjabalaba over loss of businesses. The list of MPs is as follows-

I love Bukenya so much, says Amama Mbabazi

Prime Minister, Amama Mbabazi, the politician who is considered by many Ugandans as number one enemy of former Uganda Vice President, Prof. Gilbert Bukenya has proved it otherwise.

Mbabazi shocked people in Kakiri town council yesterday when he told them that he and Bukenya are good friends and they are birds of the same feather. Mbabazi said that he rarely spends a day without talking to Bukenya or any of his family members.

The prime minister also told the people that he fought hard to have Bukenya out of prison when the former Vice President was jailed recently over mismanagement of CHOGM funds. Amama also thanked the people of Busiro north to vote Bukenya during the parliamentary by elections.

Amama also caused laughter when he denied that he was not part of the mafias Bukenya announced not so long ago that they were haunting him. When he stood up to address the people who went to the former Vice President’s home to welcome Mbabazi, Bukenya too said that he was a friend of Mbabazi.

DP promise deploys heavily in Busiro Parliamentary by-election

The Democratic Party and the rulling NRM have deployed their supporters in different polling stations during the Busiro North by elections this Thursday to curtail vote rigging allegations on either side. A low turn up is being reported but voting is going on smoothly in most areas.

According to the head of DP parliamentary committee on by elections, Joseph Ssewungu, over 1000 youths have been stationed at the different polling centers in a bid to avert any plans of vote rigging or ballot stuffing by their rivals.

Ssewungu expresses confidence that the party will secure a landslide win in the elections.

He is however worried of voter bribery and rigging but warns those intending to do so that DP is watching them sternly.

The race is between former Vice president, Gilbert Bukenya, Dps Caster Bukenya, and independents Henry Kiwuuwa and Kanzara Theopista Baliluno

Medard Segona and four others leave Rules and Privileges committee

The Member of Parliament for Busiro East In wakiso district Medard segona has excused himself from the Rules , privileges and discipline committee which is now establishing whether two ministers Hilary onek and Amama Mbabazi were not in contempt of parliament for them not to step over oil bribe scandal allegations.

Segona announced this today while this committee was meeting the Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi although he was not happy with chairperson decision for his dismissal from the committee earlier.

Segona said that he is stepping aside from the committee as asked by the chairperson because of his earlier debate on the floor of parliament this matter under investigation to do what the prime mister should have done when asked to step down.

He said that he will love to appear before the same committee as a witness to justify why the two ministers acted in contempt of parliament.

Busiro North by election polls set for December 1

The voting day for Busiro north parliamentary by elections will be December 1^st this year according to the programme the electoral commission has issued. The nomination dates are December 14^th and 15^th.

The seat went vacant after the High Court nullified his election victory over voter bribery. We have learnt that over four candidates are eying the seat. The former Vice president, Prof. Gilbert Bukenya and his main rival Kasta Hussein Bukenya are some of the candidates.

In the February parliamentary elections, Bukenya had won the race with 17,382 votes while his rival Kasta got 4,953 votes.

The electoral commission chairperson, Eng. Badru Kiggundu says that from November 11^th to 21^st the commission will be displaying the voters register.
