The course is scheduled to take place from 19^th to 23^rd July 2010 at Makerere University Institute of environment and Natural Resources (MUIENR).

Participants will be trained on the use ArcGIS Software and GIS application in watershed analysis and modeling.

The target participants are professionals working in the fields of Water, Environment and natural resources management.

To participate in the training, computer knowledge is a must and previous experience with GIS applications will be an added advantage.

Partial funding for some applicants is available. Other participants will be required to pay Uganda shillings 500,000 as course fees and meals.

Suitable candidates are required to submit their applications before Friday, 2^nd July 2010 to The Director MUIENR on the address below.
