]]> The police have arrested a man in Kiryankuyega village in Mbirizi trading centre in Lwengo district over punching his wife.

James Kayondo, a carpenter working in Mbirizi reportedly punched his wife Suzan Nakisekka.

Nakisekka reported her husband this morning at Mbirizi police station. She says that her husband punched her last night when he returned home drunk.

Kayondo in his statement at the police stated that he punched his wife under the influence of alcohol. The police told the couple to go back and settle their grievances.
