A source in government intimates to us that the appointing authority has instructed the commission chairman, Prof. Badru Kiggundu to outline all the commission workers sidelining with opposition such that they can be replaced with neutral ones.

A source in statehouse tells us that the president is not happy because intelligence chiefs briefed him that some of the electoral chiefs rig the polls in favour of opposition candidates.

Now the president has instructed Kiggundu to give him more information on the development such that the wrong elements in the commissioned can be fired and replace with moderate ones.

The development follows the recently concluded Luweero district woman parliamentary by elections in which the National Resistance Movement, the ruling party in Uganda lost the polls to the Democratic Party.
