Kenzo will be performing at Jahazi pier

The “Yele” singer Eddy Kenzo is set for his dubbed Eddy Kenzo Live 2017 concert at Jahazi pier Munyonyo on Saturday.

Kenzo expressed excitement about the much anticipated concert while speaking at a press briefing held at Auto Spa Munyonyo on Tuesday where he promised to give his fans a show to remember. “I am excited about this concert. It will be massive,” he said.

“You have to come witness this yourself. I am ready to give you the best,” He added as he called out all his fans to turn up in big numbers for the show.

Tickets to the concert are going for 20K (ordinary) and 50K (VIP).

Kenzo is an international award winning artists with the latest awards from AFRIMA  in November where he won two accolades defeating Diamond platinum as the best female artist from East Africa and best album.

Uganda’s music heavy weight Dr. Jose Chameleon of the Leone Island was beaten by angry music fans in Luweero district and his nose oozed blood.

The revelers who had turned up for Chameleon’s Valu Valu concert yesterday night at Bukenya Foundation Hall in Luweero accused the singer for arriving late at the show.

When Chameleon arrived late the revelers shouted “why have you come late you man, do you want to take us for a right,” they chorused as others shouted let us lynch him this time. Chameleon who was scheduled to arrive at the show at 3: pm arrived at midnight.

The problem worsened when power went off immediately when the singer jumped on stage to apologise. One of the revelers threw an empty bottle of beer and it hit part of his nose.

The nose oozed blood and Chameleon shouted loudly that ‘boxers save me.’ The revelers broke the seats, and destroyed the lights among other items as Chameleon flew away for safety.

Dr. Jose Chameleon’s phone was up for grabs and Judith Heard and Zari were each eager to take it at a pay. The MC was Salvado and MC Kats.

Kats and Salvado announced that Chameleon’s phone was up for grabs and immediately Judith Heard picked the microphone and offered pounds 2000 as the total price she was willing to buy the phone. Zari had earlier noted that Judith Heard did not have the money in cash so Zari asked if Judith Heard was to make a cheque or pay in case because on her part she was ready to pay the full amount in cash.

Judith heard reportedly became furious. She reportedly threw the microphone away and Zari picked it. We are told that Judith Heard called Zari a bitch.

Babirye who will be celebrating 10 years as a gospel artist says mothers are very important in the society because of the challenges they endure as they play great roles for the existence of their respective communities.

Elizabeth Mushabe a manager at SMS one a company that supply music content said that the concert worth 100 million shillings is intended to become an annual event that will  be advocating for women issues starting with safe motherhood.

Mushabe said that although Babirye’s music is majorly gospel, her songs are among the most download pieces as callback ringtones on different Mobile phone operators.
