Pawpaw fruit is recommended for people with skin disorders eg eczema and acne because of its richness in vitamin A. Pawpaw is an ideal remedy for gastritis and ulcers.

One should eat pawpaw regularly because it lowers body inflammation and alleviates pain caused by injuries, chronic joint inflammation and cartilage disease.

The high amounts of vitamin C and A in pawpaw helps to strengthen immunity, preventing recurring cold and flu. Joseph Male who was knocked down by one of the cars in Gen. Nyakayirima’s convoy says that the incident occurred on 16^th of July 2009.

In his, Male says that when he was riding to Matuga one of the cars escorting Gen. Nyakairima knocked him at Watuba after failing to negotiate a corner turning to Bombo barracks.

Male says that the army picked him and took him to Bombo army hospital where he got partial treatment. He adds that he went to Mulago hospital where he got treatment that cost him 7 million shillings.
