Bobi Wine to serve beer at Virgin Island

In the world everything is possible. If you thought Uganda’s music star, Bobi Wine (real names Robert Kyagulanyi) cannot serve beer in a restaurant or a bar better read this first!

We have been reliably informed that the singer is scheduled to serve beer among other drinks at Bugolobi’s based Virgin Island bar next week. Other musicians to serve beer alongside Bobi Wine are Bebe Cool, Coco Finger, Eddie Kenzo, Salvado Idringi and Mun G.

The management of Virgin Island bar and restaurant has hired the musicians to serve beer as one of its advertisement crusade. This promotion drive has been dubbed ‘Celebrity Bar Tender.’

The proceeds from the Celebrity Bar Tender would be taken to Butabika Hospital to help the patients suffering from mental related illness.

Col. Kiiza Besigye has vowed to continue participating in anti government protests

FDC leader, Col. Kiiza Besigye has promised to continue with his anti government protests in the New Year until the current inflation, political persecution of opposition members and politically motivated arrests ends.

Besigye’s remarks comes after the police in Kampala told the media yesterday that the FDC president will continue to be under their surveillance until he promises to stop participating in anti–government protests.

Besigye who was recently confined to his home in Kasangati, Wakiso district has told our informer who visited him this evening that he will fight on until Ugandans regain their freedom.

The FDC leader says that he is sure Ugandans are getting ready to liberate their country anytime so he will not be forced to denounce his pro people protests. Besigye says that the government thinks it can use the police to force him to denounce his crusade against despotic leadership inUganda.

Minister of Uganda for General Duties, Khidu Makubuya in trouble over empty promises

The MP for Katikamu South, Khidu Makubuya is in hot problems over empty promises he reportedly made in his constituency sometime back.

Leading the anti hot air crusade is Ivan Semwanga Ronald, a top critic of MP Khiddu Makubuya in Luweero district.

Semwanga, a councilor in Katikamu South says that Makubuya has never attended any council meeting or fulfilled any of the promises he has been making in parliamentary campaigns since 2001.

Semwanga told our informers in Luweero that when the residents of Katikamu South recently demanded for accountability of the 10 million shillings which are given to MPs to develop their areas, Makubuya reportedly told them that the money in question is given to him as a person.

Semwanga says he is now shopping for a person who will contest against MP Khiddu in 2016 parliamentary polls. However, Khiddu has also not announced whether he will seek reelection.
