We have been told by sources in the National Resistance Movement (NRM) that the burial of president Museveni’s father, Amos Kaguta will cost the family and Ugandan taxpayers at large 34 billion shillings.

The sources told us that the 34 billion shillings would be spent on accommodating and feeding mourners who will include international diplomats. The source further alleges that the money will come from the presidential budget and from the coffers of the ruling party.

Kaguta passed away on Friday morning at the International Hospital in Kampala. President Museveni in a message to all Ugandans has described his late date as “a father, grandfather, great grandfather, nationalist, freedom fighter and father of the nation.”

The trend to day have left many women getting married to men younger than them unlike in the past where  a man had to marry a lady who was  younger since it was considered that this lady could have more respect for the man.

So many young men are seen comfortably dating older women and ending up tying a knot.

Reasons to date older women

  • Advancement-ladies say that they are influenced by the environmental changes which come with modernity.
  • Love
  • Sexual satisfaction-older women found young boys to be energetic unlike the older ones
  • Experienced-older women have been in more relationships than you so they know how to handle any kind of misunderstanding
  • Status –older women are accomplished, they have better paying jobs and are ready to spend any coin on whatever they want in life.
  • Fun-young men are seen to have more fun than the older men. older women find it good spending time with the people who make them happy

Don’t be afraid to fall in love with that person thinking that he is younger than you, you never know he might be the Mr. Right you’ve been waiting for

The Anti-Corruption Court has fixed the 22nd October as a trial date for the 3 ministers accused of corruption.

Sam Kuteesa, John Nasasira and Mwesigwa Rukutana are accused of causing government financial loss of over 14.8 billion shillings during preparations for the 2007 CHOGM summit.

This is after both the prosecution led by Sydney Asubo and a team of 6 defense lawyers agreed on common facts and documents to be relied upon by court during the hearing.

The two parties agreed that the country was mandated to put in place requirements suitable for the visitors as the country hosted delegates from 23rd-25th November, 2007.

They further agreed that the ministry of Foreign Affairs was entrusted with all the funds to implement and co-ordinate CHOGM activities although it delegated some projects to respective ministries headed by permanent secretaries.

Foreign Affairs Minister, Sam Kutesa

Among the agreed documents are the minutes of various cabinet sub-committees, contracts signed between government and 2 construction companies; Dott services and Spencon plus a Memorandum of understanding between government and Meera investments.

Court also chose and swore in 2 assessors Sarah Among and Nelson Kamiza to advise Justice Paul Mugamba on whether to convict or clear the ministers of charges of abuse of office and causing financial loss.

The 3 ministers are faulted for failing to follow up 14.8 billions shs on behalf of government as directed by the president having illegally committed government to fully fund the construction of drive ways, parking ways and rehabilitation of marinas at Munyonyo Speke resort for CHOGM visitors.

It is one of those issues women have to deal with in their relationships. The possibility that he may be cheating on you. Ladies are known to have a sixth sense on such matters. But just like learnt to fly without perching in Chinua Achebe’s land, many men will be able to deceive their ladies on whether they are cheating or not. But there are some general signs that can guide to nail even the most phony guy if he is having an affair outside of your relationship.

1. Lack of intimacy. This doesn’t always have to be in the form of sex. It can be a decline of touching, cuddling, holding hands or kissing.
2. He cheated on his old girlfriends. If you can talk to some of his old girlfriends, by all means, do it. However, make sure to ask his ex-girlfriends in a kind and calm manner so they do not become defensive. A cheating boyfriend will usually repeat their behavior with their next girlfriend.

3. He never answers his cell phone around you. A way to tell if your boyfriend is cheating is if he always turns his ringer off around you or walks out of hearing distance from you. These are big big red flags he may be cheating. If he receives calls at odd hours or speaks on the phone in a strange manner could also be signs he is cheating.

4. He is irritable or criticizes you more. If your boyfriend’s behavior suddenly changes, there is a possibility that he may be finding fault with you in order to justify his cheating in his mind. That way your cheating boyfriend can say you ‘drove’ him away because of your supposed faults. The opposite of this behavior is being overly nice, giving gifts and being lovey-dovey because he wants to keep his cake (you) and eat it too (his other girlfriend).

5.He does not introduce you to his friends. This might be because he already has a girlfriend they know about, or it might be because he knows they will not be able to keep his secrets. Either way, he will always have some reason why you cannot meet them.

6.All of your dates and other activities are planned around his schedule. He decides when you do anything. If you suggest something or casually drop by his place (if he even tells you where his place is), you are likely to get some flimsy excuse. If it seems like he is scheduling you around his other women, he probably is.

7. On the Phone and Computer All the time: If you husband is starting to spend more and more time on the phone and internet without any specific reason, then star to see if he is doing something wrong. These days people can cheat on their wives that easy with the internet online dating and phone sex available. See if he is trying to find online date.

8. More and More Anger: Is he getting angry easier than ever? It could be that he is not interested in you anymore and found someone else. Now he is showing his anger on you because he could not get in touch with that women because he considers you as a road block. He might be desperate to date the other women. Irritation might be a big sign that you might not want to ignore.

9.He changes his physical appearance.A cheating man usually starts buying new clothes, gets a new hair style or begins working out because he wants to be attractive to the other woman in his life besides you.

10. He avoids you. A big sign of a cheating boyfriend is when he makes up all sorts of excuses as to why he can’t be with you because he’s spending time with his ‘other’ girlfriend. If he has to work late, stay after school, is always with his friend’s or co-workers more than usual, these could be the excuses your boyfriend is using to cover up his cheating ways.
