Generally, such features are designed with soft materials as the interface between electronics and the human body or complex surfaces, e.g. epidermal electronic system. They can be attached to the skin just like a temerity tattoo and allow for real-time measurement of various physiology parameters such as heart rate, temperature and so on. As a typical example with high innovation and impact, stretchable electronics is served as the feature cover on NSF FY 2011 Budget Request to Congress.

Scholarship Open for International Students: No

Scholarship Description: The successful candidate should have a Master of Science in physics, chemistry, material science, engineering sciences, or equivalent. Strong collaboration spirit and good communication skills in oral and written English are required. Good experimental skills will be advantageous.
