Applications for a PhD must be received by 18 February 2013 in order to be considered for a studentship. Undergraduate Scholarships for International Students: The Government of Western Australia, through the Department of Education and Training (DET) offers a number of prestigious scholarships for international students to undertake the WesternAustralian Universities’ Foundation Program (WAUFP) at eitherCanningCollegeorTuartCollegeinPerth,Western Australia.

Applicants from all countries will be eligible for consideration. Scholarship winners are selected on the basis of academic results and a reference from the school.

Where academic results do not allow for differentiation between applicants, resumes or curriculum vitae will be considered.

There are Six (6) full scholarships covering the course fee of A$13,500 and twenty (20) partial scholarships to the value of A$5,000 each being offered.

To be awarded a full scholarship requires a student to have achieved outstanding academic results. This would normallyrequire the student to have achieved the highest possible grade in at least six subjects.

Partial scholarships normally require the student to have achieved the highest possible grade in at least five (5) subjects.

McAfeeSchool of Theology International Tuition Grants: Each year, the McAfee School of Theology will offer two tuition grants to international students who are coming to McAfee on an F-1 visa.

International students who want to be considered for one of these tuition awards must have their application files completed no later than January 15 (including the affidavit of support) prior to the upcoming Fall term.

International students who receive a grant must also show evidence of $12,000 in annual living expenses.

This guarantee must be in the form of personal funds available in a bank or that of a sponsor.

Please be aware that these expenses are for one year only and you should have sponsorship or personal funds to support you during the entire course of study.

In addition, we require that the student or sponsor(s) deposit $6,000 into the student’s account atMercerUniversityby July 1 of the year they plan to attend.

The student or sponsor(s) will also be required to deposit another $6,000 by January 15 of the following semester.

The university will then distribute $1,000 per month to the student for living expenses. This process will continue during the student’s tenure at McAfee.

McAfee has a stewardship responsibility with regard to grant funds.

Students who are on an F-1 Visa and are not able to meet these obligations will jeopardize their grant from the University.

Weston Jesuit School of Theology Defreitas Scholarship: Weston Jesuit strives to offer financial aid in the form of tuition scholarships to several international students every year.

Weston Jesuit offers full- and partial-tuition scholarships. Applicants must be international students who plan on enrolling in either the M.Div., Th.M., S.T.L., or S.T.D. programs, and who plan to return to ministry in their home countries.
